Happy 2 Years!

Time does go by fast.  I have now lived in St. Louis for 2 years.  The very first weekend I moved to St. Louis, I met Amanda.  We were both out at the pool and she started asking me questions about visiting different places in the area.  Coming from Kansas City, everything is north and south of downtown and I was instantly confused because everything is east/west of downtown in St. Louis.  She was so generous and offered to show me around St. Louis that weekend and even gave me a map.  From that day Amanda become an answer to a prayer, to have a best friend in the 'Lou.  Last year we celebrated our 1 year friendship anniversary, so today was the first day we could carry on the tradition.  We celebrated our 2nd year of friendship by going to Cunetto's.  This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants with the most incredible pasta sauce!

Amanda and I are pretty much opposite on most things.  We would never argue over clothes, decorations, or even a man.  The things I love, Amanda doesn't like- sports and running.  At the end of the day, here's why I'm grateful for Amanda:  She is always considerate of me and always inviting me to be involved in whatever community event she is attending!  I'm always included!  Thanks Amanda for your friendship and before we know it we'll be celebrating 3 years!
