Fun Times in Illinois

Thursday, May 21st

So I've been missing my credit card for a week.  Bryan and I went to tennis last Wednesday and I grabbed only my credit card.  Somehow I dropped the card in the parking lot and it's been ran over several times.  Still works!

Friday, May 22nd

We are heading out to Illinois early in the morning, so we had our first slumber party at my house.  Bryan brought over an air mattress, but first we had to check out a concert in the park. I got to meet some of Bryan's friends from college!  Awesome night!

Saturday, May 23rd

Early morning flights mean Chick fil-a for breakfast!  Yum, Yum.  We are heading to Illinois and I can hardly contain myself.  Connor got to meet Ty and Brady.  I think everyone enjoyed the weekend.  First night, smores with peanut butter.  Oh that can sell!

Sunday, May 24th

After church and Mexican we headed to Upper Limits for a rock climbing day.  After a good workout, Starbucks is a great treat!

Monday, May 25th

Another early morning and we have to say goodbye to the Andrews.  Sad moment.  We headed back to Atlanta for a late lunch, followed by a pool afternoon.  We took Connor home and went on an adventure to find me Miso Paste for a recipe.  Afterwards, we both agreed dessert for dinner was needed.  Then Bryan wanted to practice strategy and we got to play hand and foot.  Love that he loves what I love!

Tuesday, May 26th

Jordan bought me a vegan cookbook and I love everything in the cookbook.  Tonight is BBQ Pineapple pizza!

Wednesday, May 27th

Forgot to take a picture.  Bummer.  Ran down the street to meet Bryan at tennis and went to Hudson Grill.

Thursday, May 28th

Had a girls night out with my bible study friends.  Lisa made us a delicious meal at her house for the evening.  I forgot I started a candle before I left home.  Smelled so good when I got home.  Wonder where my candle went.

I love Spring!

Wednesday, May 13th

I just love being outdoors.  Any chance I can get to do things outside, I'll take it.  It's been such a beautiful spring in ATL that I've enjoyed many days outside.  We volunteered at the Dunwoody Nature Center for work.  We helped move some playground equipment, clean out a shed, and helped prepare for summer camps.  We went to Village Burger for lunch and enjoyed an amazing day!

Thursday, May 14th

Girls night at Pallavi's new house.  We had a great night on the patio with lots of appetizers!  Pallavi lives 3 miles away, which is too far, but we still try to see each other as much as possible.

Friday, May 15th

Connor had his last soccer game and played his best yet!  He kicked the ball a few times and even tried out goalie.  They out played their opponent that they never even came close to Connor's half of the field.  Afterwards, Connor got to choose dinner, Willy's.  Different location but this is where the unintentional date occurred!

Saturday, May 16th

Talk about a FULL, FULL day and I only spent half the day with Bryan and Connor.  Pallavi and I got up early and went to the Farmers Market and Costco.  The boys came over in the afternoon for a few quick games before heading out to try Connor's new golf clubs.  Went to the driving range and a park down the street.   Time for dinner to Yard House where they have my "chicken wings".  Yum, yum!  Since Bryan graduated at Georgia Tech he knew about a movie and fireworks on the football field.  Big Hero 6 where we come!  So much fun!

Sunday, May 17th

Started the morning off at Passion City church and did I mention loving outside.  We went to Piedmont Park for our first picnic.  Then Connor wanted to go swimming, so off to the pool.  Sunday evening we had our tennis celebration where I got to hang out with the tennis girls!

Monday, May 18th

I haven't seen my friend Eboni in quite some time.  We met up for dinner at Brio, but took all the leftovers to Bryan.  My pasta dish didn't say chicken on the menu, but it was full of chicken.  Gross.

Tuesday, May 19th

Date night!  We headed out to get sushi at a place where Bryan went in college because they have $2 rolls.  Somehow our bill ended up this long!

Wednesday, May 20th

Bryan took a tennis class, so I ran down to the courts.  First time for everything.  Hawks played the Cavs for the first night of playoffs so we went to Tin Lizzy where Pallavi met us up for dinner.

Date Nights

Monday, May 11th

Bryan and I have been talking about going to Top Golf since we have met.  Finally, we had a date night!

So much fun!

Tuesday, May 12th

Bryan and I took our first run together!  Only 20 minutes, but it was perfect!  I forgot ginger at the store, so I made a stop on the way home.  The lady couldn't believe this was all I got.  $.25

Happy Mother's Day--Surprise

Friday, May 8th

For over a month, Bryan and I decided we would fly back to KC for Mother's Day.  Every year I get the guilt trip for not coming home and it was a perfect weekend to come back.

Bryan started the weekend off with a tennis match so far out of town, but we a slight delay we made it to the airport.

Dad took Mom to KC to dinner and watched a few episodes of Ellen until after midnight.  They took a "detour" because of road construction and Mom was shocked when we knocked on the back window.

Start the party at midnight!

Saturday, May 9th

All we ever do in St. Joe is eat.  So, we woke up early to go to Chick-fil-A.  We needed a coffee before we could ever get out the door!  My friend Brad showed up and got to meet Bryan!

Mom and Dad had a wedding to attend so Jordan, Bryan, and I went to the chocolate store to get Mom some chocolate.  We didn't even get our goodies out the door!  Happy Mother's Day!  Zack joined us and we headed to Oklahoma Joe's where Lauren and Josh met up!

Sunday, May 10th

Happy Mother's Day!  We went to church followed by the biggest meal at Benton Club.  So good, I didn't eat for over 24 hours of finishing.  Lots of card games before our flight home.
