Shopping Therapy

September 21, 2012

Nothing makes you feel better than a good outfit.  Jordan is so good at picking out trendy clothes and mixing and matching them for several outfits!  I hit the jackpot this weekend! I'll be feeling good for weeks!

When Hello Turns to Goodbye

In life you have to make decisions and open yourself up without knowing the outcome and that is just what I've done with meeting Keith.  It has been a great 9 months where I've learned so much.  I've learned about Whole Foods, places to eat for vegans, where to run, shop, and did I mention eat?  We ran together, I learned about biking, how to play racketball, and improved my ping pong skills.   The past 9 months have gone by fast and I'm so glad I opened myself up to Hello.

At this time though, we need to say goodbye.  Just as anyone who becomes one of your great friends it can be hard to do.  I believe that God has a plan for my life and through that searching it makes me a stronger person.  I look back on only good memories and look forward to the future of when "Hello" comes again.

In the meantime, I have had the opportunity to surround myself with people I love!  Thank you to all my family and friends that have stepped in to fill a void!  I'm blessed beyond measure!

Family Weekend 2012

September 14th-15th

Friday after work I headed to Creve Coeur park to get a 9 mile run out of the way for the weekend.  Afterwards I headed to Columbia to meet my Dad, Mom, and Zack for dinner at Shakespeare's Pizza. What's a trip without getting some frozen yogurt?  It caught my eye as it advertised vegan flavors.

Our hotel was in Jefferson City so after a quick night's sleep we met back up with Zack for brunch at Ernie's.  I had to head back to St. Louis for Garet and Anika's Engagement Party.

Miranda's WeddingWeekend

September 7-9, 2012

Lee Ann's daughter Miranda was get married this weekend in St. Joe and Amanda and I wouldn't miss it.  We had the opportunity to help shop for Lee Ann's dress and she looked beautiful!

First stop, Abuelos. Jordan and Lauren met us for dinner.  By the time Jordan and I get free cheese dip, free chips/salsa,  share a meal, and now free dessert we end up with a pretty good deal.  Amanda couldn't get enough honey!

Somehow on the way back to St Joe my eye got infected and I had to wear my glasses all weekend.  Saturday we headed to lunch before the wedding.  Another quick weekend in St. Joe!

A Bike Race Weekend

Labor Day Weekend
August 31st- September 2nd

St. Louis hosts a 4-day bike race every Labor day weekend called, Gateway Cup.  There are different categories that racers can qualify for.  This year college friends Keith and Brianne Guilford were racing.  It was so much better watching someone compete in a race!   There were different ways to win money and I believe they both did!
