Love Date Nights

Monday, April 27th:

Happy Birthday Ty!  I miss him so much and can't wait to see him this summer!

Our teams at work shifted down, so I moved my office.  It's twice as big as my previous office (not that I need it), but it was fun moving down.

Tuesday, April 28th

I love going on dates with Bryan.  We always have so much fun and just enjoy each other.   Saturday I got a text that asked if I would go on a date with him!  Of course!  We went to eat at my favorite restaurant UMI and our reservations were later in the evening so we could go on a walk first.

We went to the Swan House!  There were nice trails around the house, but when we arrived we noticed there was a party set up.  We blended right into the party and crashed it!  We walked around and went to the "farm" and playhouses.  We toured Swan House and had appetizers.  We just laughed and enjoyed fitting right in!

Wednesday, April 29th

Pallavi closed on a new house today!  I went over during lunch and got a quick tour before heading back to work.  Had a tennis match that evening where Bryan and I lose in the semi's.  So sad.  It's been so much fun playing together!  Pallavi picked up dinner and we had our first dinner on her living room floor!

Thursday, April 30th

Pallavi came early in the morning to tell me about Sparky. Today Sparky passed away.  He was such a sweet dog and will be greatly missed.  He was Pallavi's baby.

Bryan also spoiled me today with roses.  On our date night he brought over chocolate, but they didn't have flowers at the store he stopped in.  He definitely made it up to me with these.  Love him and his thoughtfulness.  I'm always surprised!  So lucky to come home to these!

From Meyers to Gregor

I'm over the top excited that my best friend is marrying her prince.

Lauren deserved the best and she's definitely found her prince charming

Time for celebration!

Friday, April 24th

Lauren and I headed to get our nails down with the bridesmaid.  As we were checking out, a car almost went through the window, but we were safe.  Off to get the rings.  As we were parking, Lauren's car got hit.  What is going on with people driving.  A quick lunch followed by our hair appointments.  Beauty brands didn't have any reasonable priced appointments for curls, so we went down the list.  We found Stylesmart and they could get us in.  Sign us up.  After we couldn't find the place, we found out it was in Walmart.  What could go wrong.  This is our last adventure as Sara and Lauren Meyers.  Only us!  Rehearsal practice followed by dinner at Boudraux's.  My parents picked up Bryan and we met there.  My sisters both surprised me and also attended.  Zack came in later that night, so everyone got to meet Bryan!  What a fun night!

Saturday, April 25th

It's time for a party!  Lauren picked me up bright and early for a 7:45 hair appointment.  Everything went so smooth for the wedding.  Pictures at Krug Park followed by the wedding.  Headed to KC for the reception when our limo got a flat tire.  Guys jumped out and changed the tire, right in time for dinner and dancing.  Only flat tires could happen to Lauren, but as with everything she was a great sport!

Sunday, April 26th:

Headed to church, 54th street, and now time for the airport. Always good to be home with family.  After landing we headed to Yardhouse!  What a great first visit for Bryan to KC!

Yardhouse

Odds and Ends

Monday, April 20th

I didn't know that the south had tornado's, but I quickly found Atlanta does get weather similar to the Midwest.  We had a tornado warning which caused the teams to head to shelter.  It ended up being nothing, but we were still safe.

Tuesday, April 21st

Here's us just hanging out!

Wednesday, April 22nd

Connor's birthday is quickly approaching.  Time to get some gifts!

Thursday, April 23rd

No picture, but I'm heading home for my best friends wedding!  So exciting to be celebrating with Lauren.  A 10:30 flight gets in right before midnight!

Nothing But Rain--We Need OUT!

It has done nothing, but rain for days now in Atlanta.  All of our tennis matches are getting backed up.  Bryan said don't you notice all the leaves are green since we have been home from DC.  Nope, haven't noticed because I've been living in my raincoat over my head.

Monday, April 13th

Bryan and I were just talked about how we needed to read another book of the Bible and we notice Passion City is starting up another series!

Tuesday, April 14th

Mail time!  I took a picture of all the mail I had to send out.  I took a picture and decided tonight I better not post everyone's address on my blog!

Wednesday, April 15th

Congrats to Coach Roswell on hitting 1000 wins!

Thursday, April 16th

First time using my juicer and I tried the Daniel Plan recipe.  So, so, so much better than the Ninja when making Veggie Mocktail!

Friday, April 17th

Just being funny!  As you can tell by now this week, WE NEED OUTSIDE!!!

Saturday, April 18th

Getting ready for Lauren's wedding with haircuts!  We took Connor to his cub scouts event at the television channel where we got a tour and front row seats to a live production.  Connor was on TV and is accepting autographs for anyone who wants one!

Sunday, April 19th

Connor visited Passion City church with us today!  He was so excited to visit the church and said he would return.  As we were walking out, he was singing songs from the band!  They are gathering items for the needy in the city.  I already grabbed Bryan and I's bag and he grabbed some also.  Double the blessing!

Washington DC, First Vacation with Bryan

It's Bryan and I's first vacation and we are meeting his family!  It's Connor's spring break, so we are headed to DC to meet Bryan's parents and sister.

What a wonderful weekend!  I had been to DC before, so I could just relax and go with the flow.

Thursday, April 9th

Early, early morning results in Starbucks!  We met in Baltimore where we took a train into the city.
Bryan's dad, Ted, met us at the train station where we settled into our hotel, followed by dinner!

Friday, April 10th

Happy Birthday Rach!  Connor had the cutest comment when i told him it was my sister's b-day. He asked if she was as pretty as me.  I showed him some pictures!  He agreed, she's perfect!

We had a tour at the Capital building, followed by lunch and the Natural History Museum.  We walked 11 miles, so Connor was definitely wiped out by the evening.

We found an exhibit for Pallavi!

Saturday, April 11th

Happy Birthday Dad!  Can't believe he's not golfing (thought I would catch him between holes).  Love you!

Today we got to the Air and Space Museum.  Bryan's parents and sister have show tickets at the Kennedy Center, so tonight it's just us three.  We went to the Cherry Blossom festival, followed by dinner and Lincoln at night.  The boys might of gotten chocolate ice cream!
He might of been more excited than Connor!

Sunday, April 12th

Last day to make it count!  Headed to brunch before finishing touches at museums, ice cream, and anything else we wanted to see and do.  We took the train back to Baltimore to take the unwanted plane back to reality.
