Keeping At It As Time Flies

As summer always does, it flies by and I have no idea where the time is going.

As I'm looking for a new job, most of my time is now spent at home and I can get a little trapped, so I'm doing my best to keep active every single day.

Here's how my walls look now that I'm in search. Quite organized!   It works for me!

Friday, July 10th
Saturday, July 11th

As it always is in "HOT" Atlanta, it is hot.  After tennis we went back to the pool where we had our annual pool party with DJ's and food!  Today must be a day of HATS!

Sunday, July 12

Rrrr You ready for an adventure.  Today we headed to the Mini Golf Course taken over my pirates.  Bryan didn't want to keep score, but of course I needed to know I "won".  I came in 2nd!  Next time!

Our Winner
Monday, July 13

Nothing screams summer like watermelon!  This would be my second of the year already!

Tuesday, July 14

Back on my birthday, Bryan bought me Imagine Dragons tickets for the floor. I've never been on the floor before, wait we stand the entire time.  It didn't matter because you can also dance!  We headed out for a great dinner before our concert at a Mexican restaurant.  Oh how Bryan knows my heart!

Wednesday, July 15

Here's a secret to cooking vegetables for all to eat, maple syrup.  Jordan bought me two cookbooks that are all vegan and there isn't one disappointment.  Everything is oh so good.  I remembered to send J the recipe, which resulted in making two desserts.  Just what I DON'T need!

Thursday, July 16:  Forgot!

Friday, July 17:  Headed to our summer concert series at Norcross Park. This marks our third Friday night out to the concerts!

Saturday, July 18

This morning we decided to serve at Perimeter Church helping fill 2000 backpacks for schools in the area.  We had so much fun putting each pack together!  Afterwards we went to Passion City's church BBQ!

Sunday, July 19

After a fun filled day, Connor wasn't feeling the greatest and put himself to bed at 6:30.  Bryan and I ordered in food with ginger ale!  Oh yum!

Monday, July 20

Happy Anniversary to Chris and Rach!  14 years!  Yikes!
I got a juicer for my birthday, but only used it once for a recipe in a "detox".  So, over the 4th I got a juicing book and finally put it to use!  Today, Cucumber, Carrot, and Celery. Not so bad!

Tuesday, July 21:  Oops another forgot.  We had tennis and we didn't win, so I guess i didn't have the spirit of a picture.  :(

Life Looking For A Job

Life looking for a job is NOT my preference, but I"m trying to stay positive and upbeat about my resume going into a pile of resumes with everyone else.  Praying for the right opportunity to float my resume to the top.

Here's a view of my days.

Tuesday, July 7

Tea---can't work without this!

Wednesday, July 8

Found this book from my good friend Jenessa.  Just what I need for this time!

Thursday, July 9

Trying my best to keep God in the middle of this and a good attitude.
Found this today while reading a different verse.

New Hampshire Lake house Vacation

Wednesday, July 1st

I'm so excited to go on vacation with Bryan and his family to their lake house. I've heard all about the memories of the lake house and couldn't wait to check it out myself.

Heading to the airport, our flight was delayed.  What ended up happening is our flight at 2 AM was cancelled. Nothing like being awake in the airport all night long.  Thankfully there was a shift change at 4 am and we found a flight at 5:30 to Baltimore.  We made it!

July 2nd--- We were up all night so here's how I ended up looking before it was all said and done.

After a good nap, we headed out to dinner!  Bryan and his brother Brad were in a frozen T-shirt contest!

Friday, July 3rd

Happy 5 months to my love!  It's been so much fun getting to know Bryan and am amazed everyday by who he is!  While back home, I gathered up all the pictures of us and created a scrapbook, with the help of Mom!  We went hiking on Mt. Monadnock which was a big hike that took all day.  Lunch on the mountain, followed by dinner with Bryan's Aunt Kitty.  She originally owned the cottage.

Saturday, 4th of July!

It started off a little rainy, but the evening turned out to be great.  There was a boat parade that included water balloons and water guns!  That evening we took the boat out on the lake for fireworks.  Can't forget, lobster for dinner!

Sunday, July 5th

We had to leave the cottage today, but not before kayaking, boating, and hammock time.  Quick hike before leaving for Boston.  That evening we went to an Italian dinner, followed by watching the USA win the World Cup, and walking all over town!  What a great day!

Cheers

Monday, July 6

It's never fun to have to go home, but today's the day!  Before we leave, we need to walk the Freedom Trail and all over the place. Another 7/8 miles we walked today!

Goodbye for Now

Monday, June 29

It's time to say goodbye to University of Phoenix.  Today the news came down that my last day of employment was quickly approaching.  It's been a great nine years and I'm very grateful for all the opportunities.  What's a way to say goodbye.  Date night in Brookhaven.  I've missed Bryan for almost two weeks while being away.

June 30 and 31st--wow no idea what i've been doing.  I took a few days off from looking for jobs and focused on ME!  I guess in that process, I forgot to document my life!

Loving Time At Home

I have been enjoying time back at home and Rachel is recovering so well.

I found some more pictures from June 26, so here they are!  We went to Aladdin's Mediterranean to eat!

Saturday, June 27th

Everyone loves a tea run!  5 of us, 7 drinks!  Ended the night with a sleepover at Jordan's!

Sunday, June 28

Last day with Rachel before I have to leave.  Boys came to the hospital to check out MOM!  Looking beautiful and recovering perfectly!
