Wrapping Up August

Wrapping up summer is never fun for me.  I love the summer and this one has been good with an extra long break!

Saturday, August 22

We spent the day at Lake Lanier Islands were there are plenty of water slides and lake activities to spend an entire day. We got the most of our adventure.

Sunday, August 23

I got to spend the afternoon with Connor while Bryan had a few errands.  What else would you do besides McDonalds?  We hit the play yard (with a little treat) and then played games.  Cassie and Brian were in town and took us all to dinner.  So yummy!

Monday, August 24

Cassie and I met for breakfast at Flying Biscuit down by Piedmont Park.  I decided to do a little running and found myself next to the set of Mother's Day coming out in 2016. I didn't see anyone famous, but I found the location!

Tuesday, August 25

Cassie and I met for dinner. We toured Pallavi's house, went for a walk, and finished with sushi.

Wednesday, August 26

I was inspired to clean out my closet and ended up getting rid of two more bags of clothes.

Thursday, August 27

I have enjoyed my patio this summer and have spent several hours reading, talking on the phone, and occasionally catching something on Netflix.

Friday, August 28

Happy Birthday Brady!  We decided a few weeks back that we would head to KC for Brady's birthday celebration.  We had a blast getting to surprise the boys and then play yard games all day!  To top it off, Brady has asked for an electric guitar and we delivered on that request!  One HAPPY HAPPY 8 year old!

Saturday, August 29:  Bryan has all the photos on his camera.  Dang!

Sunday, August 30:  Jordan got engaged last night.  How exciting!  Can't wait to see what the next few months have in store!  It's time to celebrate HER!  Congrats J!

Monday, August 31st

A little devotional that I thought was perfect for the boys!  I pray they find lifetime friends at school this year!

Tuesday, September 1st

My friend from St. Louis, Jodi, always talked about Von Maur and the piano playing guy that is in there every day.  Well I just happened to be walking through the store when I heard the light sound of a piano.  I had to check it out for her!

Wednesday, September 2nd

Chick fil-A is headquartered in Atlanta and Elizabeth and I took the morning to tour the home office.  It was amazing to learn all the details of how it all began.  So much fun!
