California Love

Saturday, September 12

It's time to go to California.  Bryan has a work conference and I'm so blessed to go along.  My employees in San Francisco always talked about going to Lake Tahoe.  Bryan did a big adventure race for 10 days in that area, so we took a trip down memory lane and went to visit.  3 1/2 hours in the car was worth it.

Sunday, September 13

We went hiking on Mount Tallac.  It was only a 4 hour hike, but it took us over 6 hours to go up and back.  There were moments I didn't think I was going to make it, but I don't quit!  On our adventure we got to see a momma bear and her cub.  I always thought that would be cool to see, until I was there and I was like oh crap--we don't have any bear spray.  We had a Chick-fil-A cookie and I would of wrestled him for that cookie.  Tahoe is on the state line, so we took a picture on the CA/Nevada state line!

Monday, September 14

After a big day on the mountain, we took it easier and went on Ms. Dixie, a boat ride around Tahoe to Emerald Bay.  We finished the night back in SF at my favorite restaurant!  Gracious Madre!

Tuesday, September 15

While Bryan is off at the conference, I get to walk around the city and find fun new places to visit.  I came across a vegan restaurant, Plant.  Yummy, vegan cupcakes.  That afternoon I got to meet with my friend Tamara!

Wednesday, September 16

Today was a dangerous day because I found a lot of activities that cost money!  I went to a play, Between Riverside and Crazy, and found out Ben Folds was in town!  Sign me up for both!

Thursday, September 17

I wanted to check out this restaurant, Eatsa. You order on an I-Pod and it comes in a window.  You never see employees.  I got to attend the conference today!  Wow, amazing and so much money that went into this event.  That evening we went to a concert with the Killers and Foo Fighters!  It was apart of the conference and I couldn't believe the KILLERS were there!!!  I was going crazy!

Friday, September 18:  No pictures, travel day!
